HOW TO MAKE THE PIZZA
1. Mix both flours in a large bowl, and then stir in the yeast.
2. Create a well in the middle of the mix and pour in 400ml warm water and the olive oil. Mix with a wooden spoon until you have soft but still fairly wet dough.
3. Bring the dough together in the bowl and then knead for around 5 minutes on a floured surface. Cover the dough with a tea towel and set aside. For the best results you want to dough to rise but this isn't essential for a thin crust.
3. To create the pizza sauce blitz the tomatoes and thyme in a food processor. Good results can also be achieved by giving in a good mix by hand.
4. Arrange your toppings ready for the kids to decorate.
5. If you've been able to let your dough rise then it'll need a little knead in the bowl before you take it out. Then you can split it into 4 equal balls.
6. Roll each dough ball out using a rolling pin - you want the dough to go fairly thin. We always find kids prefer eating a thin pizza base!
7. Smooth the tomato sauce over the bases and scatter the cheese on top - you may or may not want the kids involved in this bit. Though now it's time to make the faces.
8. The courgette rounds will make great eyes and cheeks, and halved courgette rounds can be great for eyes. Spiralled courgette is ideal for hair. Pepper strips for eyebrows and mouths, cherry tomatoes also make great eyes, sweetcorn is great for teeth or freckles. Let their imagination run wild.
7. Bake!
